Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Vintsnap ("Vintsnap", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Vintsnap mobile app and vintsnap.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

Using Vintsnap

You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. The information you give us when signing up must be accurate.

What Vintsnap does

Vintsnap uses AI to generate studio-style listing images from the clothing photos you provide. AI output varies and isn't guaranteed to be accurate, realistic or fit for any particular purpose — you're responsible for reviewing each image before you use it, including in any marketplace listing.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the images you generate. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit your photos — including sending them to our AI provider — solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You confirm that you have the right to use the photos you upload, and that they don't infringe anyone's rights or contain unlawful content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• upload photos of other people without their consent;
• use the Service to create unlawful, harmful, deceptive or misleading content;
• disrupt or interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass credit, rate or usage limits, or reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to it;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly allowed.

Credits, subscriptions and payments

Generating images uses credits. There are two kinds:

• Subscription credits are included with an active subscription and refresh each billing period. They don't roll over — any unused subscription credits stop being available once that period ends or the subscription lapses.
• Top-up credits are bought separately, don't expire, and remain on your account until you use them.

Purchases are made through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. We don't process or store your payment-card details. Subscriptions renew automatically through your App Store account until you cancel; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store settings.

Credits have no cash value and aren't transferable except where the app provides for it. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies; where a purchase is refunded, the related credits may be removed from your balance. If you ask Apple for a refund, you agree that we may share information about your account and your use of the Service with Apple — such as the purchase concerned and the extent to which you have used the credits or features it provided — so Apple can assess your request. We share only what is needed for that purpose. We may change our prices and the credit cost of generations; changes apply only to purchases and subscription renewals made after the change, and credits you've already bought keep the value they had when you bought them. If we increase a subscription price, we'll give you notice, and where Apple requires it your renewal won't proceed at the higher price without your agreement. None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. Deletion is permanent: it removes your account and the data associated with it, and (if you signed in with Apple) revokes that sign-in. Any unused credits are forfeited on deletion and are not refundable, except where you have a statutory right to a refund (for example a cancellation right that still applies to a recent purchase). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

Intellectual property

The Vintsnap name, the app and the website, and everything in them other than your content, belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the Service in line with these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI-generated images may contain errors or inaccuracies, and we don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of digital content and services — that can't be excluded under English law.

Liability

We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we change the Terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.
